The veteran outfielder, however, is 2 for 11 with a homer against scheduled starter (4-4, 5.49 ERA). The right-hander is 5-5 with a 6.98 ERA in 10 starts versus the Royals. After he allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings of a 10-5 home loss to the Royals on April 18, Pavano gave up two in seven innings of an 8-3 win at Kansas City on April 23.
